In the unlikely event that anything should happen to your baggage, you will need to report it immediately to the relevant authorities, at the airport (Lost & Found desk).
Lost or damaged baggage
For lost or damaged baggage, please inform your airline at your arrival airport. The airline representative will give you a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) form to complete. Please keep a copy of this.
If you need to pay for essential items while abroad due to lost baggage, please keep all your receipts. You’ll need them to process reimbursement claims through your airline or travel insurance company. Be sure to check your airline’s website to see what items they will reimburse you for and how you can claim.
If you lose any baggage or property during your transfer, you will need to contact the transfer provider directly.
Stolen luggage
If you suspect your luggage has been stolen, you will need to report this to the airport, hotel or transfer company directly. You should also contact the local police for assistance, and inform your travel insurer who will provide you with next steps.
