JETS HOLIDAY will process personal data collected from its clients based on contractual or legal grounds, on the legitimate interest of JETS HOLIDAY or third parties, or based on consent related to data processing.
JETS HOLIDAY places great importance on ensuring the safety and confidentiality of personal information belonging to users of the website www.jetsholiday.com, clients, current, former, and future employees, as well as other individuals, including contractual partners or their representatives.
Personal data may be processed directly by JETS HOLIDAY or by authorized entities processing data on behalf of and on the basis of JETS HOLIDAY.
What personal data is and how it is collected by JETS HOLIDAY
Personal data (“Personal Data”) includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to identifiers such as name, identification number (CNP), location data, online identifiers, or to one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.
JETS HOLIDAY collects personal data through its website www.jetsholiday.com, as well as through its suppliers of tourism and other services.
JETS HOLIDAY may also collect personal data during any interaction with its clients or with other individuals interested in its services, whether through the website, call center, email, or written messaging sent by various means.
Purpose and legal basis of personal data processing
When you choose to purchase travel services through JETS HOLIDAY, the company may process the personal data you provide (yours, family members’, and persons travelling with you), for the following purposes:
- a) Provision of air passenger transport services – issuing, managing, and modifying flight tickets with the selected airline, check-in procedures, and providing additional services.
- b) Provision of tourism packages through partner service providers.
- c) Provision of accommodation and meal services – issuing, managing, and modifying bookings with selected accommodation and catering providers.
- d) Provision of land or sea transportation services – issuing, managing, and modifying bookings with selected transportation providers.
- e) Confirmation of online purchased services and provision of additional booking management services (notifications, changes, etc.).
- f) Invoicing and collection for services ordered by you and processing online payments.
- g) Ensuring online transaction/payment security using anti-fraud filters.
- h) Responding to requests and complaints.
- i) Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and statistical analysis aimed at improving JETS HOLIDAY service quality.
- j) Sending offers, advertising and marketing communications about JETS HOLIDAY or partner products/services to measure the success of campaigns or customise services to your needs.
Processing of personal data for purposes listed under (a)–(h) is necessary to provide tourism services (contract execution), comply with legal obligations, or protect the legitimate interests of JETS HOLIDAY or third parties.
Processing for purposes (i) and (j) will take place only with the explicit consent of the individual concerned.
Personal data necessary to provide travel services you purchased will be transferred to third parties (Travel Service Providers) so requested or additional services can be delivered.

To fulfil the objectives above, JETS HOLIDAY may process:
- first and last name
- date of birth
- gender
- nationality
- home/residential address
- email address
- personal identification number
- landline/mobile phone number
- identity card/passport number and details, visa information
- information on services purchased (provided directly or via partners)
- credit/debit card payment data, bank accounts
- invoicing details
- travel details (booking information and optional services requested or supplied)
- communication details between you and the JETS HOLIDAY staff
Processing special categories of personal data
In certain cases, JETS HOLIDAY may process health-related data to ensure optimal travel conditions or provide special assistance to travellers with disabilities or special medical requests (e.g., special diets, medical care, travel assistance).
Consent is required to process these categories of data.
Refusal to grant consent may result in JETS HOLIDAY being unable to confirm required services from transport or tourism providers.
Such data may also be used to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or where processing is necessary for reasons of major public interest.
Personal Data Recipients
JETS HOLIDAY may disclose client personal data to third parties to comply with legal obligations as an online travel agency and to provide purchased services, or where necessary to protect and defend its property rights or ensure emergency safety.
Recipients may include:
- Travel agencies and other service providers (e.g, insurers, transfers, accommodation and catering providers, airlines) used via JETS HOLIDAY
- JETS HOLIDAY partners: when you purchase services, certain data required to deliver those services (name, email, address, payment details, etc.) may be shared with business partners, limited to only what is necessary
- Banks/payment service providers
- External customer support providers
- Market research, customer satisfaction, marketing and advertising service providers
- JETS HOLIDAY contractual partners marketing their products/services
- IT infrastructure/software providers, analytics providers
- Public authorities (Customs, Border Police, etc.), based on legal obligations
- International organisations (EUROPOL, INTERPOL, IATA)
- Arbitration bodies, courts, and competent authorities
- Other subcontractors of JETS HOLIDAY
Other situations
If you interact via social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), information may be shared between JETS HOLIDAY and the social media provider (e.g., username, email address, profile pictures, contacts).
Your personal data and data relating to other persons on the same booking may also be shared to pursue compensation under Regulation EC 261/2004 for flight delays or cancellations or denied boarding.
Where necessary, consent may be requested for specific data transfers to third parties.
Data retention period
Personal data collected by JETS HOLIDAY will be stored only as long as necessary for the purposes for which they were processed, according to applicable legislation.
After this period, data will be permanently deleted or anonymised.
Marketing communications will be processed until consent is withdrawn.
Transfer of data outside Romania
Your personal data may be transferred outside Romania when required for legal or contractual purposes.
Where recipients are located outside the EU/EEA or in countries without adequate data protection levels, JETS HOLIDAY will ensure compliance with GDPR safeguards.
Marketing communications
When data is collected, you may choose whether to receive marketing communications about JETS HOLIDAY or partner services. Your preferences on content and communication method will be respected.
